Waiting Room
The Waiting Room displays a list of patients attending or scheduled to attend your clinic for the current date.
The primary purpose of the Waiting Room is to track the arrival and movements of these patients, and for each patient you can specify whether they are 'waiting', 'in consult' or the appointment has finished. The Waiting Room also serves as a handy shortcut to billing.

Items of interest on this window | |
Add | Adds a new appointment. |
Edit | Edit the record of the selected patient. |
Finished | Ends the appointment. You can invoice the patient now. The patient will be removed from the Waiting Room. Alternatively, right-click the patient and select Finished. |
No Show | Indicate that a selected patient has failed to arrive for their appointment. Alternatively, right-click the patient and select No show. |
Cancelled | Cancel a selected entry in the Waiting Room. |
- Specify the visit status of a patient by right-clicking their record, as shown in the following image:
- To immediately create an invoice for a selected patient:
- Highlight the patient whom you want to bill and press
Ctrl+I on the keyboard:
- If the patient has only one account, you are redirected to a New Invoice in the patient's account.
- If the patient has more than one account, select Account and choose which account you want to invoice.
- Highlight the required account and click OK. You are redirected to a New Invoice in that account.
- If the patient does not have an account yet, you are redirected to the Accounts screen in the patient's file.
- Highlight the patient whom you want to bill and press
