Before You Begin

Prepare to move your Bluechip data to a new server.

Contact your system administrator if you need assistance with the following:

  • An external hard drive or other media for moving the data from the old server to the new server.
  • Ensure you have the latest full Bluechip release.
  • Log in to Windows with local administrator privileges.
  • Ensure you have your MedicalDirector Bluechip Store password, or Medicare Australia Location Certificate CD and PIC Passphrase.
  • Determine your installed version of the Bluechip. To do this, open Bluechip. Select Help > About and note the installed version.
