What Do I Need to Backup?

  • Bluechip Database: You will need to backup your Bluechip database. If you have multiple databases available, you will need to perform a separate backup for each database.
  • ManageEzy Documents: If you scan/import documents into patient records using ManageEzy, you have the option of backing up your ManageEzy documents database. This backup must be done separately to the Bluechip (patient) Database.
  • ImageLite Folder: The ImageLite documents folder should always be included with any Bluechip database backup. You will need to know the location of the ImageLite documents folder. To locate your ImageLite documents folder (if you don't already know it), within Bluechip select Help > About. The window that appears will indicate the ImageLite documents folder location.
