Configure Bluechip for Online Claiming

On the practice's workstations, configure Bluechip to use Medicare online claiming.

Procedure

Open Bluechip.
Click Setup > Practice > Batch Types.
Select your Medicare Online class, for example, HIC BB.
Click Configure Medicare Australia.
Select BcTools > HCN Backup.
Run the Backup Utility.
On the Location and Authentication tab, enter the following:
- Location Id: BCP#####
- Passphrase: Store Password
Click the Ellipsis button and browse to the location of the hic.psi on the new server.
Click OK.
Repeat the above on all workstations.
Open Bluechip and ensure you are able to view and save letters and documents. If you encounter any errors please contact MedicalDirector Customer Support.

Results

The practice's workstations are ready to use Medicare online claiming.
