Upgrade Bluechip Checklist

Use this checklist to help you prepare your system for upgrading Bluechip.


	Review the system requirements.
	If you have an IT technician who performs your updates, contact them before proceeding.
	Allow enough time to perform the update and conduct the update outside of business hours or on weekends.
	Perform a full backup.
	Ensure that all MedicalDirector software is closed on each computer.
	Disable the antivirus and firewall software. Enable it again when the install is complete.
	Once the upgrade is installed successfully on the server, you can install it on your workstations.
	Open Bluechip. Ensure you can view existing correspondence and perform an OPV check.
