Updating Fees

You can choose whether to update Health Fund fees automatically or manually:

• The Bluechip Automatic Fee Updater checks every two hours whether new MBS, DVA (RMFS), or Health Fee files are available. If so, it downloads and installs them without interrupting the practice's work.
  • MBS and DVA (RMFS) fee updates are automatically applied to the Medicare and RMFS Fee lists.
  • Bluechip updates the Health Fund fees automatically into new fee lists (if selected). Next time you log in, Bluechip notifies you that the new Health Fee lists have been created. You can make them available for use by activating them and assigning them to practitioner classes. If the practice has selected to apply the Health Fund fees to existing Health Fund fee lists, the updates are applied automatically and the Health Fund List name is updated.
• If you prefer to update fees manually, you can turn off automatic updating.
