Keyboard Shortcuts

The following keyboard shortcuts are provided in Bluechip
F1 Opens the Help File.
F3 Send an SMS.
F6 Alternates between margin menu and features box.
F8 If Bluechip is linked to Day Surgery, F8 opens the patient record in Day Surgery.
F9 In Patient Details, opens patients in Clinical.
F10 If Bluechip is linked to BC Research, F10 opens the patient record in BCRM.
F11 Logs the current user out of Bluechip and returns to the Login window.
F12 Moves to Practice Explorer.
CTRL + A Open account - on patients details when you highlight the desired account.
CTRL + I New Invoice in Waiting Room, Today's patient's and on Patient's Details when you highlight the desired account.
CTRL + O Opens a File.
CTRL + P Brings up the Print Report dialogue, which is context specific. For example, if no file is open then the standard report dialogue is called; if a patient account is open, then account-specific reports are listed first; if Practice Explorer is open, displaying Medicare Online Claims, then Medicare Online reports are listed first and so on.
CTRL + R New - Receipt - In Waiting Room, Today's Patients and on Patient Details when you highlight the desired account.
CTRL + S Saves a File.
CTRL + F4 Close a File.
CTRL + F6 Toggles between open windows within Bluechip, for example, Patients, or a Patient and Practice Explorer.
CTRL + Del Removes a line from an invoice or receipt.
CTRL + Page Up Moves up the Margin Menu to a different module.
CTRL + Page Down Moves down the Margin Menu to a different module.
TAB Moves to the next field.
SHIFT + TAB Moves to the previous field.
ALT + F4 Exit.
