Step 1 – Download Health Fund Fee Lists

Download the Health Fund fee update file for your Health Fund.

Procedure

  1. If this is the first time the Practice has downloaded Health Fund Fee Lists, create a new folder to store the downloaded Fees Lists, for example, C:\Health Funds.
  2. Access the MedicalDirector website.
  3. Locate the Bluechip Updates page.
  4. Click the Bluechip Health Fund Fee Updates link.
  5. Locate the fee update file for your Health Fund and state.
  6. Click the link to the update file.
    • If prompted to save the file, locate the folder you created in Step 1, and then click Save. If no prompt message is displayed, the file will probably have been downloaded to your browser's Downloads folder.
    • The Fees file is a .csv file, and can be opened in Microsoft Excel as a spreadsheet.
    • The Fees file includes derived fees.
    • Before you import the list, you can optionally add a description in the Description column for each Service Item. Any descriptions you add in this way will override the MBS or Health Fund descriptions in Bluechip.
  7. Make any amendments you want, then click Save.
  8. Repeat for each fee list the Practice requires.

Results

The Health Fund Fee Updates are downloaded and available for import into Bluechip.
