Estimates

Generate estimates before invoicing the patient.

Use the Estimates tab of the Patient Explorer to quickly and easily generate estimates before invoicing. Estimates are created for each patient.

Generated estimates can't be edited or deleted. However, you can clone an estimate and then edit the clone. If you need to add items to an existing estimate, you can do it when you issue the invoice for the estimate.

Bluechip allows you to quickly and easily generate estimates before invoicing. Estimates are created per patient, and managed from the Estimates menu in the patient's record.


New	Create a new estimate.
View	View the selected estimate.
Clone	Clone the selected estimate. This gives you the opportunity to edit the estimate before saving.
Print	Prints the selected estimate.
Create Invoice	Create a new invoice based on the selected estimate.
OEC	Validate the estimate with Medicare by doing Conduct an Online Eligibility Check.
Print OEC	Print a copy of the OEC report.
Resubmit OEC	Validates the estimate with Medicare again.
