Updating Patient Information from Medicare

Before you begin

Procedure

  1. If the patient details (patient given name, medicare card number, and patient reference number) held by Bluechip are different to those held by Medicare, you are prompted to automatically update the patient record.

  2. Select the patient or claimant update check box and click OK.
  3. After the update(s) are applied, the Patient Claim window will be displayed to resubmit the claim.

    This dialogue is not applicable to Store and Forward Patient Claims.
