Medicare Australia Patient Claims Outstanding Report

The Medicare Patient Claims Outstanding report prints a list of patient claims waiting to be paid by the Medicare.

Before you begin

The report includes invoiced amounts claimed from Medicare that were not paid at a specified date.

Procedure

From the Bluechip main window, click Practice Explorer, located at the bottom-right. The Practice Explorer is displayed.
Select Medicare Australia from within the Margin Menu.
In the Medicare Australia - Online Claims window, either:
- Click Print
- Press Ctrl + P
- Select Reports > Print
In the Print Report window, select Medicare Australia Patient Claims Outstanding from the Medicare Australia category in the list of available reports and click Next.

Notice that because this window was called whilst the Medicare data was in view in the Practice Explorer, Medicare reports are now available, where they would not normally appear.
In the Print Medicare Australia Patient Claims Outstanding window:
1. Enter the date range for invoices issued.
2. Indicate which Practice Rooms to include in this report, and whether you want to include deactivated rooms.
3. (Optional) Indicate whether you want to include claims not yet submitted.
4. (Optional) Indicate whether you want to include deleted claims. Details of deleted claims will be printed in italic text.
5. Indicate the order in which you want the results printed.
Click Next to continue.
Select the appropriate destination for the report, and click Next to start the report.
