Patient Explorer

Access and record patient information.

Use the Patient Explorer to access and record patient information and actions taken on the patient's behalf, such as bookings, accounts, correspondence, and demographics. The Patient Explorer is available when you open a patient's record.

The Patient Explorer should not be confused with the Practice Explorer, which provides access to global functions and information.

The Patient Explorer is divided into two sections:

The left section is called the Margin Menu. It provides access to tabs that allow you to record actions on behalf of the patient.
The right section is called the Features Box. It displays all of the information and options relating to items selected from the Margin Menu.

If Bluechip is linked to Clinical, clicking F9 - Medical Director or pressing F9on your keyboard opens the patient's record in MedicalDirector Clinical.
