Recalls Tab
Send a reminder about a visit to a patient.
Use the Recalls tab of the Patient Explorer to send recalls to patients. A recall is:
- A reminder to a patient that they are due for a visit
- A record that the practice has fulfilled its duty of care to the patient by recalling them for a visit
In Bluechip, a recall can be sent as:
- A printed letter
- A phone call to the patient
- An SMS reminder
The Recalls tab displays a list of current patient recalls. There is also a Recalls tab available in the Practice Explorer.

| View old | Set this option if you want the list to include recalls that have already been actioned. |
| Add | Creates a new recall for this patient. |
| Contact/Print | Prints a letter for the selected recall notification, or records that the patient has been contacted about the recall. |
| SMS | Sends the selected recall to the patient as an SMS. |
| Remove | Deletes the selected recall. |
