Recalls Tab

Send a reminder about a visit to a patient.

Use the Recalls tab of the Patient Explorer to send recalls to patients. A recall is:

  • A reminder to a patient that they are due for a visit
  • A record that the practice has fulfilled its duty of care to the patient by recalling them for a visit

In Bluechip, a recall can be sent as:

  • A printed letter
  • A phone call to the patient
  • An SMS reminder

The Recalls tab displays a list of current patient recalls. There is also a Recalls tab available in the Practice Explorer.



View old Set this option if you want the list to include recalls that have already been actioned.
Add Creates a new recall for this patient.
Contact/Print Prints a letter for the selected recall notification, or records that the patient has been contacted about the recall.
SMS Sends the selected recall to the patient as an SMS.
Remove Deletes the selected recall.
