Cloning Estimates

Clone an existing estimate so you can change some of its details.

About this task

If you want to resubmit an estimate, you can do so without cloning it.

Procedure

From within a patient's record, select the Estimates menu item.
Select the estimate you want to clone.
Click Clone.
In the New Estimate of Fees window, enter new admissions, discharge, and service dates.
Click OK.

Results

Bluechip clones the selected estimate, with the changed details you entered.

What to do next

If you want to validate the estimate with Medicare by performing an Online Eligibility Check, you will need to re-enter the admissions, discharge, and service dates.
